The only silly question is the on you don't ask. Unfortunately, you do need the Xbox Brook adapter. I have the first generation model. It has a few quirks, but when it acts up, I just unplug and replug the entire setup. Takes a minute to do.

@GenerationalGamer okay cool. I've been looking at getting one of those as my 360 thumbsticks are on their last legs. So it would be nice to be able to use newer controllers.

I'm enjoying it. The game is wicked-hard (for me). I've never been good at Souls like game. This is not has hard as those, but for a more God of War like player, I do find this game difficult. It is fun though. I've never paid too much attention to "Journey to the West" but I did enjoy a Jackie Chan movie loosely based on the myth called "The Forbidden Kingdom." Looking at my PS5 stats, I am 19 hours into the game. I find a lot of similarities with Stellar Blade. I like Stellar Blade more, but I've already beaten it twice, so this is a nice successor.

Retro-style games require that you really learn the game. I am still working on it. I was not in the right mood when I was streaming, so I got frustrated easily.

Have you modified the controls on the Genesis core? If not, please do so.

I've noticed that as I have gotten older, my tolerance for frustrating games has decreased. Games that I have a relationship with, from my youth will always get a pass.

The NES game was re-released a few years back. You can still sometimes find one at a decent price.

I have mine mapped as follows: A=X / B=Square. Use the same code with the necessary changes based on your mapping. The code is built into the NES game.

It outputs at 720p and has a 4:3 / 16:9 option. The worst thing though is the red tinge over the picture. I still like it.

The arcade version of Space Harrier is the best version but I prefer to play the 32x version of the game. There is something about it.

Two was a good game. I did enjoy it. I thought it was a sequel, not a parallel character. Now that we know that there were three playable Bayonetta's, I am less impressed with the second game. The difference with the first and second games is Nintendo. The first game was a Sega game for the PS3 and Xbox 360. It has since been remastered for the PS4 and Xbox One, along with the Switch. I will probably replay the first game on the PS4 soon. It is not that long. Right now, I am giving most of my attention to Black Myth Wukong (ruclips.net/p/PLacpJbW1DTb8NmtO504RXoDp320iqcrOi), but I think Bayonetta may be next. I have no interest in the future of this series after the third game. I don't care for the story, the art, or really anything. I had to really push myself to finish it. At one point, I would have blindly purchased any subsequent game, but that third game was just awfful. If Viola is the future, they can keep her.

@@GenerationalGamer yeah your not wrong. It was so silly for them to not stick to how the style of the game was. The cutscenes are nothing like the first one. I got it recently on pc, but was having trouble trying to mod a costume change on it but failed. So I was relooking at 2 and 3 to spark inspiration to try replay them but I'm not sure I found it. I couldn't even finish 3 myself, I ended up watching the last of it on RUclips. I was on the level as viola in a desert. When I played it I literally couldn't get into the story. Everything happening I was like are you serious! They should've just gone with the time periods being crossable not the multiverse garbage every single franchise is doing

The Kaico is a little cheaper. I don't know if it is cheap enough: amzn.to/3yrC7vD If you have a Wii, the Hyperkin HDMI will look great. The cheaper SNES, N64 & GameCube option will not look nearly as good.

I had to look up the McBazel, but I found it. mcbazel.com/index.php/product/ps2-to-hdmi-converter/ It is very similar to the Kaico PS2 adapter that I covered here: ruclips.net/video/JgClUyecMbY/видео.html (and in this video) It's an old video, so my art and editing aren't my best. Also, I don't get into the politics of Kaico versus other companies. I'll review it honestly regardless. It produces a quality 480p signal, most of the time. The problem with that type of device is that produces the signal of whatever is inputted into it, from the console. Most games on the console are 480i (different in PAL regions), so line doubling is crucial for a one-size-fits-all type of thing. I like easy, so I generally use the Retrotink. The RAD2x is derived from the same technology, but I am not spending the money to import one from the UK. I already have the RetroTink Pro and I don't use it for much more than the PS2. If you only play progressive scan games, then the McBazel would be the preferred. Unfortunately most of my games are 480i, so I just play them all through the RetroTink.
